Apollo Seiko Introduces Two New Inline Selective Soldering Systems
Apollo Seiko, a leading innovator in soldering technology, has added two new inline selective soldering systems to its product lineup, expanding its options for manufacturers working with a wide range of board designs, alloys, and production volumes. The new CF IN4050A and AF IN4035DA systems are designed to address practical production needs such as process stability, configuration flexibility, and reduced changeover time.

The CF IN4050A is the first system in Apollo Seiko’s new Customizable Flow Series. It is designed for manufacturers who need a stable selective soldering process but want the ability to tailor the system to their operation. The platform includes laser-based flow-height control and fiducial-based coordinate adjustment to help maintain consistent solder delivery and accurate positioning. With a solder-pot capacity of up to 350°C, the CF IN4050A supports a broad range of selective soldering applications.
The system can be configured with optional features such as automatic nozzle cleaning, automatic solder feeding, IR preheating, nitrogen purity monitoring, and vision-based flow adjustment. These options allow users to add capability as production requirements change, rather than replacing equipment.
The AF IN4035DA Dual-Pot In-Line System is intended for production lines that run multiple alloys or frequently change soldering programs. The system combines dual fluxing, top-side IR preheating, and two independently controlled solder pots within a single inline machine. This configuration allows different alloys, nozzle sizes, or programs to run in parallel without stopping the line.
Standard features include laser-based flow-height control, automatic coordinate correction, automatic solder feeding, nitrogen purity monitoring, and optional MES connectivity. By reducing the need for line stoppages during changeovers, the AF IN4035DA helps increase output while maintaining consistent soldering conditions.
With the introduction of the CF IN4050A and AF IN4035DA, Apollo Seiko continues to expand its inline selective soldering offerings to better support today’s production environments.
